MOESIA. Istros. Circa 313-280 BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 18 mm, 4.47 g), a contemporary plated imitation. Two facing male heads side by side, one upright and the other inverted. Rev. IΣTPIH Sea eagle standing left on dolphin; below dolphin, monogram of ΔΙ. Cf. AMNG I 421, Dima Subgroup IV, 9 and SNG BM Black Sea 253 (for prototype). Nicely toned. Very minor traces of corrosion and with tiny breaks in plating, otherwise, about extremely fine.
